Aristocrat Products is hiring an experienced, reliable and motivated production specialist.
This position will be responsible for cutting, fabricating and assembling aluminum patio rooms and enclosures according to plans and measurements. The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably fabricating extruded aluminum and/or building patio rooms and enclosures.
We provide the tools and equipment. This is a full-time, W2 position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets drawings and schematics
- Performs mathematical calculations including fraction and decimal calculations
- Measures and marks cutting and bending lines
- Double-checks design specifications before commencing cutting work
- Sets up and operates machinery including rollers, drill presses, brakes and shears
- Performs quality checks on completed projects
- Receives vendor deliveries
- Monitors inventory and notifies supervisor when orders need to be placed
- Stages materials for installations
- Assists in the loading and unloading of material and tools needed for installations
- Delivers materials to job sites as needed
- Assists in installation and services as needed
- Assists Production Manager and installation crews in any way that contributes to meeting company goals and standards
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED; trade school a plus
- 2-3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably fabricating extruded aluminum and/or building patio rooms and enclosures
- Knowledge of patio covers, sunrooms, awnings, window/door installation; etc. a plus
- Able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to complete a task/job with little to no supervision
- Good judgment when carrying out duties
- Positive, collaborative, get-it-done attitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Fast learner
- Able to frequently lift and/or move 50-75 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation to work
- Ability to pass a background check
Work Schedule
- M-F 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Saturdays and overtime as needed
